Are They Numbers or Are They People

i am thinking of this for my latest blog, but it's good to share it with you all.. .

i imagine that those who have never been jehovah's witnesses and just hear about them or perhaps "know" a couple must wonder, "why all the fuss?".

since we have moved into the internet age, everyone is an expert.

Thank you for your post. I only wish that more JW's would not have a morbid
fear of reading about their religion on the internet. To them, it is worse than
looking at pornography.

Could the "Memorial" night and number of partakers be all fake?

each year at the annual "memorial" only the anointed class of members partake of the emblems.

everyone else is an observer.. did you ever think that the memorial is only a display to keep their authority over the rank and file ?

In the late 1960's and early 1970's the declining numbers of the "anointed" was
used as a sign that the end was near. Then the number started to grow, then
it stablized and would not decrease, and now it is going up again.
I don't know why the Witchtower Babbel and Trick Society just post numbers
of a gradual reduction of 250 per year which would string out the numbers 36
years, by then all of the old timers would be dead, and the current rank and
file would once again look forward to the yearly report to see the decline in the
anointed.

Hey, I just realized something!

the price of a gallon of gas is back down to around 2 bucks -- less than that, even, if you don't get premium.. so, with that "hardship to brothers" at least temporarily lessened, does that mean the weekly one-hour book study in private homes is back on again?.

I recently asked an "active" Witness about the price of gas now at a 7 year low, if
the WTBTS will bring back the CBS since the reason for stopping it was due to the
high cost of gas and the hardship that this put on the brothers. The Witness told
me that the Society never said that the high price of gas was the reason. Here
we go again with "We did not say that, there were some over zealous brothers
who were running ahead of the organization who said that."

the watchtower stays afloat by western society donations.

so as the growth in western societies continue to decline and the growth is in 2nd and 3rd world countries how will the watchtower remain afloat from donations from these places where some make a dollar a day?

I can see it coming, a Watchtower article on the benefits of going back to the
original arrangement of Jehovah using the tithe and how Jah blessed the nation
of Israel when they offered Him a tithe and now how the spiritual nation of
Israel needs the tithe. They will lay it on hot and heavy and put a real guilt
trip spin on it to some how equate tithing with surviving the great tribulation.

Today at the meeting an elder said the following: "We don't want to focus on
the life that we have now, we have to focus on the life that we will have in the
New Order. What we will have in the future is so much better than what we
have now."
This is why JW's will sit thru boring meetings and hear the same things that
we heard 20 years ago and say how good the meetings are, and why they
will spend their time knocking on the doors of empty houses, and spend their
free time to prepare for meetings which is a rehash of the same material from
the past.
JW's will sacrifice the one and only life that they have for a future life that may not
even happen. The Bible says that there is going to be a resurrection of the
righteous and the unrighteous. The millions of non-JW's who live happy lifes
and help the needy and defend the country that we live in from those who want
to do us harm, and enjoy their families during the "wordly" holidays, and who
do not consider a vacation as sitting for 8 hours at a District Assemly so that
they can go swimming at the hotel, are not unrighteous people. But say that
they are unrighteous in the eyes of JW's, they will still be resurrected just like
the faithful JW's, so why go thru all of the trouble that JW's go thru to "earn"
the right to be resurrected in Paradise?

Are any of them clammering to get the bookstudy back now that the price of gas
is at a 7 year low point? My wife is tickled pink that she does not have to go out
of the house on Tuesday evening. Her words were "thank you Jehovah."
The WTBTS has made a very serious error in judgment with dropping the CBS.
They will have to do something in the future to compensate.

The mind eating cult takes away any possibility of thinking. They check
their brains in at the door before entering the KH to be instructed by
the Witchtower Babbel and Trick Society.
